This week I quite like free writing activity about
"What are the way your learning Styles effect your teaching strategies"
I think you cannot teach more than you know, so firstly being aware of your own knowledge and how we acquire this knowledge is an important issue. After that we can analyze how we get our current knowledge and how we learned this knowledge by which learning styles and strategies. This analyze can gives us clues about us.
in my case I learned language in a variety of settings I started to learn in a rural area my hometown then I moved to a metropolitan city and then I prepared for TOEFL exam and now I am in an English speaking country all these settings play a great roles in terms of my styles and strategies.
On the other hand when I thought about my teaching experience I noticed that I mainly asked students to do visual things for as assignments then I am thinking now what if my student is not visual so as a teacher you have to have broad collections of styles and strategies. This week class time add valuable contribution to this progress in my mind.

I think that part of the reason why we tend to give more visual tasks is that it is "easier". Another reason might be that our teachers preferred visual activities.
We teach the way we learn. I missed the writing activity because of a migraine. But I know I am most comfortable teaching in the styles that work for me as a learner. We can work around this by being aware of the problem.
